Supply Operations Coordinator III - Temporary - OPE01290-14
We are currently seeking a Supply Operations Coordinator III to join our amazing team.
Receive and review purchase requisitions, prepare purchase orders and select appropriate vendor for procurement of service/materials within specific parameters and limits; ensure Purchase Orders are saved and sent per instructions.
Verify and investigate anomalies/discrepancies with the business to adjust the Purchase Orders to match the PREQ changes (monitor the functional mailboxes)
Prepare and/or review Service Entry Sheets to accommodate the invoice payments and ensure these documents are approved in an efficient manner
Initiate, verify and/or prepare reports related to Purchase Orders and close the stale PO per corporate policies etc.
Single point of contact to discuss/explain issues, queries, regulations, practices and procedures.The Challenge - Key Objectives:
Adhere to Supply Operations policies, procedures and quality practices in achieving team goals and objectives
Be instrumental in playing a role in reducing supply operating costs
Review and action planning recommendations, ensuring validity of parameters
Optimize inventory investment by recommending material procurement, transfer or disposition
Supply Chain operational knowledge
Understanding of Supply Operations KPIs and concepts
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPointRequired Skills & Abilities:
Strong analytical, problem identification and solving skills
Make good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, experience and judgment
Strong teamwork skills with proven ability to build, maintain and utilize relationships across the Corporation
Ability to effectively structure work and plan activities to meet business goals
Make recommendations for changes or adjustments to reduce costs and/or improve operational efficiency
Ability to adjust quickly and maintain composure to shifting priorities and rapid changes
Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities while ensuring deliverables are met
Good communication skills - written, verbal and presentation
Aptitude for customer service, effectively handling both favorable and unfavorable customer interactions
Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Self-motivated, work well with minimal supervisionRequired Experience:
3 years experience in Materials Management required preferably in a similar role
Recent grads of APICs, Bachelor of Supply Chain Management will also be considered as 3 years exp
Experience in material requirements planningPreferred Professional Education:
PMAC, APICS, Supply Chain Management courses
Post-secondary education in business considered an assetNot required but considered an asset:
Working knowledge of SAP (MM)
