The successful candidate will have expertise in Deployment, troubleshooting and regular moves/adds/changes of IT equipment. This includes desktops, laptops, mobile devices (iphones, Blackberry, ipad desk phones, and printers.
Prepare desktop computers with our clients corporate image
Follow standard naming conventions and update LANDesk inventory for each device to be deployed
Coordinate with users in regards to upcoming replacement of equipment
Ensure backup of any data that might be required for the user prior to replacing the machine
Ensure that users are comfortable with their new machine
Excellent customer service skills
Extensive knowledge of PCs, printers, and all peripherals
Prepare returned equipment for disposal (wipe drives, document details of equipment being disposed) following our inventory process
Using our Service Desk ticketing system to log, update and close tickets
When necessary, acting as backup for team taking calls and logging and resolving tickets for users.
